About Adrielo
Adrielo is a contemporary artist based in Santurce, Puerto Rico. With a completely self managed and self taught career, Adrielo has been able to position his work in private collections and galleries in different parts of the world. With a mindset that art should reach everyone that wants to connect to it, he arranges his art shows to take place in restaurants and alternative places that are not usually used to show art looking for art people to be more comfortable and connect. With the intention to help people with stressful time during the first year of the Covid19 pandemic he created “El Junte” weekly online art workshops free for anyone (all ages) who wanted to learn with the materials they already had at home. During 2020 he also created “El diario de Colores” painting one artwork a day for the whole year trying to make sense and memory of everything happening. Adrielo has offered art workshops in public plazas, furniture stores turned into one day art schools and schools around the island. On April 2021, Adrielo was selected by The Bronx Library Center to be featured artist of their Heritage tour. He continues to work from his studio in Santurce, Puerto Rico and is mentor to other upcoming artists.
